Sram Red Flattop Chain | 12-speed

The all-new SRAM RED chain has been redeveloped from the ground up. The unique link shape allows the chain to be narrower and lighter while increasing strength and providing more space between the outer plates of the chain and the cogs on either side. The result: a quieter chain with faster, more precise shifting.

Technologies

Deep Range™ - The new Deep Range technology not only provides a wider gear range but also improves it. It has "depth": a smoother, more useful gear progression. Smart shift settings, enabled by AXS™, bring the simplicity of a 1-speed drivetrain to a 2-speed system. Thus, you always have the right gear, and it doesn't interfere with your ride. Ride faster, more efficiently, and more comfortably with Deep Range technology.

Flattop™ - To offer the Deep Range technology, SRAM had to develop a narrower chain. The unique joint shape of the Flattop technology not only made this narrower chain possible but also ensured quieter operation, increased strength, and durability.

Powerlock® - SRAM chain engineers developed PowerLock® as a tool-free, secure, and consistent way to connect chains.

HollowPin™ - SRAM employs HollowPin™ construction on all its top-of-the-line chains. HollowPin™ provides plate retention strength, front and rear shifting efficiency, and achieves low weight standards impossible with solid pin chain designs.
