SRAM GXP Bottom Bracket | ITA 70 mm
The GXP system differs from others in that it does not use lateral load for bearing clearance adjustment. Instead, the left bearing is clamped between the bottom bracket axle and the left crank arm. The GXP system is designed to allow the right bearing to move freely along the length of the bottom bracket axle without any resistance. This prevents premature bearing wear.
