Record-Breaking Assos Speed Club Ride 2024

On June 2nd, the Velonova community kicked off the summer at the traditional "Assos Speed Club Ride" event. This third cyclist gathering set a new record, with 127 cyclists joining this year. Everyone received symbolic gifts, and one lucky participant won the grand prize – an "Assos Speed Club" jersey.

The "Assos Speed Club Ride" began with warm-ups and preparations – sports nutrition was provided by SiS and Arimex to ensure that participants had enough electrolytes and energy. After warming up, we completed the 110 and 80 km routes on the road together, without major surprises. Upon returning, we regained our strength at the Therabody tent, where we tried out massagers for athletes, snacked, socialized, and listened to the melodies of Simon Jakubauskas' project "Simo kavinė."

"Assos Speed Club" is a series of events organized worldwide, bringing together like-minded people who love speed and, of course, bicycles. Every year, Assos presents a new design of the "Speed Club" apparel, which you can purchase at Velonova.
